A Kumasi-based man of God insists Ghana is spiritually sick, predicting more disaster in the form of deaths to hit the country this year.

Bishop J. Y. Adu had disclosed that in the spiritual realm, things looked gloomy for the country in the remaining months of the year.

The head pastor of the New Jerusalem Chapel in Kumasi insisted that there would be more bloodbaths in the country.

According to him, some prominent people in the country would kick the bucket this year and the calamity could only be reversed through prayers.

Bishop Adu said NPP had recorded one of the prominent deaths recently when Upper East Regional Chairman of the party, Adams Mahama died.

The man of God said it is now the turn of the ruling NDC to also suffer one of the prominent deaths. Stressing Ghana is in difficult times.

He said the recent massacre which hit Accra through flooding and fire was predicted by him on December, 31, 2014.

“I delivered a prophecy in December 31st, 2014, when I prophesied that there will be more disaster and deaths in the country in 2015. I declared on that day that more lives would be lost in the country through disasters such as flooding and fire,” Bishop Adu said on Hello FM.

He said he then suggested that President Mahama should lead Ghanaians to pray to avert this calamity from happening but nobody took him serious.

Bishop Adu said he was least surprised when the flooding and fire unfortunately killed several people in Accra last week because it had been prophesied.

He reiterated that if Ghanaians fail to act now, there would be more prominent deaths from camps of the NDC and the NPP this year.
